About Kendra Grant
Kendra Grant, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a seasoned leader with more than a decade of experience in strategic planning, operational transformation, and organizational excellence. Throughout her career in the financial services industry, she has led business execution, aligned cross functional teams, and advanced key strategic initiatives. Known for translating complex strategies into clear, actionable outcomes, Kendra is a trusted advisor and strategic partner who consistently delivers results that strengthen organizational performance and support sustained long-term impact.
Kendra was born and raised in Marion, South Carolina, where her deep family roots remain and where she continues to find a strong sense of home. The values and close-knit community of Marion helped shape the foundation for her character, growth, and future aspirations. As a young adult and newly married, Kendra relocated to Alexandria, Virginia, where she began her professional career and started her family. After nine years, she returned to the Carolinas, ultimately making Charlotte, North Carolina her home. There, she continues to evolve both personally and professionally, building on a foundation grounded in purpose, resilience, and commitment to growth.
Within Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Kendra serves on the Executive Board of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter and has made meaningful contributions to chapter operations and programming, including Economic Development and Policies and Procedures. As Co-Chair of Fundraising, she led a signature initiative that generated more than $20,000 in profit for the chapter. Kendra has also served as a member of the Nominating Committee, where she played an instrumental role in delivering effective programming and evaluating and slating qualified candidates with fairness and clarity. Her work reflects a deep understanding of the significance of the Nominating Committee and its responsibilities to ensure strong, ethical, and capable leadership for the future of Delta Sigma Theta. Kendra was recently elected to Charlotte Alumnae’s Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 biennium as Corresponding Secretary. Kendra’s leadership also extends to the regional level, where she has supported initiatives that recognize excellence and strengthen member engagement. Her service on the South Atlantic Region’s Awards and Recognition Committee during the 2024 Regional Conference, combined with her experience as a Collegiate Advisor, demonstrates her ability to lead across multiple levels of the organization while applying thoughtful, effective practices that strengthen both collegiate and alumnae experiences. Furthermore, her selection for the 2025–2026 Delta PEARL Program underscores her commitment to lifelong learning, leadership excellence, and continued preparation for greater service within our sisterhood.
Kendra’s candidacy for Member of the 2028 South Atlantic Regional Nominating Committee, is guided by her campaign theme, “Build with Excellence, Select with Purpose.” This theme reflects her commitment to strengthening leadership pipelines through thoughtful, inclusive, and intentional selection processes.
